What is the Maximum Simulated Daily Loss?

The Maximum Daily Loss for the BEM Classic – Swing account is 4.5% of the initial balance, representing the maximum amount your account can lose within a single trading day before it is considered breached.

This limit is recalculated daily at 22:00 UTC based on the following rule:

Daily Loss Limit = Balance − (4.5% of Initial Balance)

If, after the daily limit is set, your equity or balance falls below this level at any time, the account is considered breached and will be terminated.

Note: The daily loss calculation includes floating P/L, closed P/L, swap fees, and commissions.

Example:

  • Initial Balance: $10,000
  • 4.5% of Initial Balance: $450
  • Balance at 22:00 UTC: $10,200

Daily Loss Limit: $10,200 − $450 = $9,750

If your equity or balance drops below $9,750 at any time during the day, the account will be considered breached.
